Everyone
is welcome to dine at the café!
We offer many options for diners as to how you can select your portions and pay
a fair price through one of the following options:
We make use of seasonal foods--grown, cooked, and served in ways that benefit both you and the environment. A Better World Café’s selections change daily as our chefs
implement the products from local farms and markets and seasonal items.
A Better World Café reduces food waste, since customers choose their own
portion sizes. It reduces trash because it does not use Styrofoam cups, plastic
utensils, or paper plates. All of the coffee and teas available are fair-trade.
Food waste and teabags are composted instead of being thrown away. Community CafesA Better World Cafe follows a community cafe model pioneered by Denise Cerreta of One World Everybody Eats in Salt Lake City, Utah. The cafe is a great way to strengthen the bonds of community by providing nutritious meals based on affordability rather than price. A Better World Cafe is proud to belong to a family of community cafes around the nation that share the same principles.
